MEMBERSHIP

The South African Council for Business Women offers membership to corporate women, professional women and entrepreneurs, and aims to promote the business interests of its members and the economy of our country in general.

Advantages of Membership:

  • Members can use the Council as a vehicle for networking and marketing, and in this way expand and strengthen their organisations.
  • The Council creates its own platform for socialising without prejudice in a business environment dominated by men.
  • Opportunities are provided for the businesswoman to develop in her own right.
  • A wide range of knowledge and advice is available to members.
  • Regular business-orientated workshops and self-development seminars are presented.
  • The Council can be used as a mouthpiece by means of which women can exercise an influence on their environment.

  • You will be affiliated to the AHI (Afrikaanse Handelsinstituut) which affords you insight into government policy making.
  • You will be allowed to display the SACBW logo on your stationery, web site, etc.
  • You will receive a certificate of membership to display in your office.
  • You will receive a full page on the SACBW web site with your company details, photograph, etc. to advertise your business. See the Members page for examples.
  • You will be able to attend the monthly functions at a discounted price - R35, rather than R50.
  • You will receive a monthly newsletter.
  • You will be eligible to win prizes at the functions.
  • You will have the opportunity to offer specials and discounts to other members and you will be able to benefit from specials and discounts offered.
  • You will be able to advertise in the newsletter or web site or sponsor a monthly function at a discounted rate.
