- Give recognition
- Create meaningful network opportunities
Our Vision
The SA Council for Businesswomen aims to
be the largest and preferred choice
in businesswomen's networking and aims
to meet and exceed the expectations
of its members by supplying them with
a value-added service that will stretch
across all demographic, sociographic
and geographic aspects and ensure true
empowerment, upliftment, development
and job creation for South Africans
in general whilst being affiliated
with other business networking organisations.
Our Mission
The SABW is a dynamic, vibrant and powerful
agent of change and development for
all levels of businesswomen, where
they may learn, grow and be challenged
to excel in a supportive and uplifting
environment, through a value-added
service and networking opportunities
presented by the organisation.
Our Objectives:
- To act and be accepted by all government
bodies as the mouthpiece of members.
- To influence government policy and
community attitudes proactively in
matters affecting members and in the
promotion of a market-orientated economic
system.
- By formal and informal liaison, to
coordinate views of members and present
these effectively to the government
and other relevant decision makers.
- By means of a data bank of advisory
services and information, to establish
immediate contact between members and
institutions and authorities concerned
so that problems can be solved.
- To liaise with other organisations
in the interests of the South African
business community and to undertake
and carry out common projects where
appropriate.
- To promote communication and contact
between members and the Board of Management.
- To increase the share that women
have in the business sector and to
strengthen the inherent character and
culture of the Council.
- To promote entrepreneurship and create
awareness among the general public
and the young entrepreneurs in particular,
of the advantages of a market-orientated
economic system.
